Force Feedback
One of the great advancements that the g27 has is “Force Feedback” Its not just your usual rumble made by a non directional vibration generator. Force feedback give you a true reflection of your driving experience in the game. Slam into a wall on a street circut and you feel it properly. Put the pedal to the metal too fast and you will feel the wheel responding as you spin the tyres. Gun it too quick out of a corner and you will feel the feedback through the steering wheel as you struggle to keep the car from spinning out while you fishtale up the road.
So as you are holdong onto the wheel and feeling the rear of the car sliding out and the wheels spinning, glance at the RPM indicator and see if you are at the rev limit to see if you can upshift and still keep the wheels spinning. Or if you are seroius about your racing the RPM indicator panel will allow you to up shift at precisely the right moment for maximum speed while racing. The six speed shifter will let you select the right gear every time in the blink of an eye. If you get good enough at shifting you could even beat the eye blinkers. Often being excellent at the timing of shifting gears is the difference between a good racing driver and a great racing driver. I good driver using the stick shifter will beat a driver in automatic mode any day.

Yes indeed you can turn the wheel around two and a half times. Just like you would in many real cars. None of this move the wheel two degrees and you steer of the track at 90 degrees to the straightaway. Its great for controlling the sliding and drifting of the cars. get this sorted and you really only need one hand on the wheel.
Bolt it all down. If you are like me and get pretty excited whe you are driving or racing, then bolt everything down. Each component can be fastened to a solid surface. The pedal set has a carpet grip system on it but for best results you can bolt it down. Probably not the best idea to bolt the pedals to your floor so get a small sheet of 199 mm MDF and bolt it to that. Put a gouple of carpet grips under the MDF and those and the weight of the MDF will keep the pedals in place.
